Photographer: Martin Becka

French photographer Martin Becka has come up with a novel way to capture one of the world's most modern cities, Dubai. A 150-year-old camera.

Soon-to-be world's tallest building, Burj, Dubai and sailboat-shaped Burj Al-Arab are some of the icons Becka has given an antique makeover using his 1857 view camera. -CNN

I really love the look, kind of reminds me of Josef Hoflehner interpretion of Dubai, but his was more retro futuristic.  I would recommend skimming through some of the articles underneath "References and Links."  The photographer has some interesting insists on skill, digital vs film and the art form.

I love this. Futuristic look, yet from a ficitional historical perspective blown as an expression of just a tiny moment in mankind history. Keep it up!
